NEW ENGLAND DRIVERS
New 2011 Vermont Legislation: Governor Shumlin signed "Nick's Law", a bill introducing a comprehensive system to reduce repeat DUI offenses-including the use of IGNITION INTERLOCK DEVICES.
Ignition Interlock Devices are breath alcohol analyzers that are fitted into a vehicle and requires the driver to provide a sample of breath before the vehicle will start. There are also preventitive measures in place to prevent possible abuse of the system.
All devices will log data about breath samples given and will be monitored and checked every 30, 60, or 90 days.
Ignition Interlock Devices keep drivers with DUI's from operating their vehicle if their breath alcohol level is over a pre-set level.
- contact STACY AUTOMOTIVE CENTER for information about purchase and installation of IGNITION INTERLOCK DEVICES.
